Crisis HQ ignores Red Star and Milan! Kon: That match was not even mentioned, all measures remain!
The Crisis HQ has decided not to relax the measures that are in force due to the coronavirus pandemic
Although many Red Star fans had hoped that today's meeting of the crisis HQ would decide to ease the measures that have been in force for months due to the coronavirus pandemic - which would have allowed some fans to watch their club play against Milan at the stadium in Belgrade - that is not happening for the time being.
At the session held on Tuesday, the Crisis HQ did not even consider that match, according to Dr. Predrag Kon, who stressed that all measures remain the same.
"The Red Star v Milan football match was not even mentioned during the meeting, the measures are still in force," Kon said after the session.
A little earlier in the day, Dr. Branislav Tiodorovic and Red Star President Svetozar Mijailovic were guests on a TV station, when they also talked about the match between Red Star and Milan.
Tiodorovic said that some members of the Crisis HQ would be in favor of easing the measures, while Mijailovic said that Red Star fans promised to keep the prescribed distance if they were allowed inside the stadium that would be full up to 30% of its capacity.
However, for now, that will not happen.
The match between Red Star and Milan is played as part of the round of 32 of UEFA's Europa League and is scheduled for February 17 in Belgrade, while the return leg will be played a week later in Milan.
