How one of most in-demand hotels on the Roof of Serbia got "closed": The truth behind Facebook war
"They're trying to play IT mafiosi"
The page of the Hotel Stara Planina on Facebook has been hacked, but as we found out, despite that, everything is still functioning normally at the resort itself.
Namely, the page of that profile says that the hotel is "permanently closed," which has nothing to do with the truth.
As acting director Goran Karadzic confirmed for Telegraf Biznis, JP (public company) Stara Planina will take all measures.
"Our profile has been hacked, and of course everything is working! They are trying to play 'IT keyboard mafiosi' with a serious state company, such as JP Stara Planina and SP RESORT - rest assured that they will not be able to," Karadzic told us..
Otherwise, this year was a record one for Stara Planina, located on the mountain by the same name, in many ways, primarily when it comes to finances and the number of guests, although the hotel was closed during the state of emergency.
As we reported earlier, none of the guests who stayed or who returned from the "Roof of Serbia" had any problems with coronavirus.
As of January 2, the resort, in addition to other epidemiological measures, requires all guests over the age of 15 to have one of the following documents when checking into the hotel:
- a negative RT-PCR test for the presence of SARS-COV-2 virus, not older than 48 hours, or
- a negative antigen test, also not older than 48 hours, or
- a positive serological test for antibodies
The public company Stara Planina and SP RESORT, in cooperation with the health center in Knjazevac, will enable all guests to be take the antigen test at the Hotel Stara Planina itself. The price of the test is 1,200 dinars, and the expected time for the result to arrive is 15 to 20 minutes.
