84,832 citizens vaccinated so far: As of today, health workers can receive the vaccine anywhere

Starting today, in order to speed up immunization, each healthcare worker can be vaccinated with an available vaccine at any place designated for that, said State Secretary in the Ministry of Health of Serbia Mirsad Djerlek.

Djerlek told Tanjug that health workers will be able to be vaccinated between 2 and 3 pm.

He stressed that the health workers are under great strain, which is why the Government of Serbia picked that intermediate period between two shifts.

Djerlek also announced a large campaign to vaccinate health workers during the weekend in all health institutions throughout Serbia.

To date, 84,832 citizens have been vaccinated

The number of vaccinated citizens is at this point 84,832, the Government of Serbia announced.

Mass vaccination has continued throughout Serbia, and citizens who want to be vaccinated can express their interest on the eUprava portal or by calling 0800 222 334.
