The Hungarian police have found a new tunnel under the border with Serbia in the region of the city of Asotthalom in southern Hungary, a spokesman for the local police said.

A police patrol reportedly discovered the tunnel under a temporary fence.
The authorities covered the tunnel with soil, MTI reports.
The police also announced that they arrested a Montenegrin citizen who tried to smuggle 25 people who said they were from Syria. They were traveling in a van with Serbian license plates.
The passengers were turned back across the border
