Unheard-of disgrace: Thieves rob newly opened Covid hospital in Krusevac, take devices
"I really don't know who would need it and they intend to do with it," the hospital coordinator said
As yet unknown thieves last night stole medical devices from the warehouse of the recently opened Covid hospital in Krusevac.
As confirmed by the coordinator of this healthcare institution, Dr. Vlada Cvetanovic, nine telemedicine systems have been taken.
"The theft was noticed this morning, the police were informed and conducted an investigation. No traces of burglary were noticeable on the warehouse door," Cvetanovic explained.
He said that nine telemedicine systems have been taken, which serve for remote monitoring of the patients' condition.
"These devices were procured from abroad for the needs of our Covid hospital. I really don't know who would need it and they intend to do with it. They are not big, they can fit inside a small bag," Cvetanovic said and added that he did not know the market value of these devices.
