There are no crowds at Serbia's border crossings this morning, they are deserted, and apparently new measures for entering Serbia which came into force at midnight have contributed to that - a negative PCR test is necessary in order to enter the country.

Considering that, there are have been no traffic jams at the crossings this morning, unlike the previous weekend when kilometer-long lines of vehicles rushing to enter Serbia formed.

At the time people literally had to wait for several hours at all border crossings. In the meantime, a decision was made to move the mandatory PCR testing requirement by a day, so the measure came into force in the night between Sunday and Monday, instead Saturday and Sunday.

As of midnight, every Serbian and foreign citizen who enters Serbia must show a negative PCR test which is no older than 48 hours, and which was issued by a reference foreign laboratory in the country they are coming from.

Foreigners who do not have a negative test must return to the country they came from, while our citizens who don't have one can quarantine in Serbia for 10 days.

They can break this isolation if they do a PCR test in Serbia and if it is negative.
