A 66-year-old patient died this morning in the Covid clinic at the Anti-tuberculosis Dispensary (ATD) in Vranje, and although public was informed that he died while waiting for an examination, as Telegraf.rs has learned, it all happened after he was examined.

According to our information, the man was a severe chronic patient, who had serious comorbidities. According to our sources, this was an oncology patient with numerous metastases.
He was admitted to the Covid clinic, examined, and had an antigen test done.
As announced by the Health Center Vranje, a patient (66) was admitted to the ATD Covid clinic of the Healthcare Center Vranje today in the early morning hours in poor general condition, accompanied by his son.
"The on-duty team reacted immediately, all necessary diagnostic procedures were indicated during the examination and done as soon as possible. Despite the provided healthcare services and the efforts of the medical staff, due to his general health condition the patient passed away at the premises of the ATD Covid clinic, Vranje Health Center, at 8:55 am," the hospital said in a statement.
The management of the Health Center Vranje expressed its deepest condolences to the family of the deceased.
