Vidic responds to Terzic: He's the last person I'd confide my plans in, we have no communication
The celebrated former member of Serbia's national football team denies the story told by the Red Star director general
Nemanja Vidic's open letter to Serbian public criticizing the Football Federation of Serbia (FSS) and the existing system caused a great deal of reaction. After that, Zvezdan Terzic also reacted, saying that he had a conversation with Vidic and that he told him he wanted to become the national team's head coach.
Terzic said these words in front of TV cameras as a guest on Prva TV, but this was soon denied by Nemanja Vidic himself.
In a statement for Mozzart Sport, he said that he had no communication with Terzic and that Terzic was the last person he would confide in about his plans.
"The last person I would confide in about my plans is Zvezdan Terzic. I have no communication with him," Nemanja Vidic was brief.
Otherwise, the FSS Executive Board is meeting on Thursday, where everything that has been done in the past period will be discussed, with an emphasis on the failure to qualify for next year's European championship.
The Assembly of the FSS is scheduled for December 25, which could determine the future of the FSS and of Serbian football.
