Large cache of weapons found near Bujanovac, including rockets for Osa anti-tank weapon

During works to inspect the terrain carried out in the territory of the municipality of Bujanovac on November 14, a worker with a mine clearing company, that is working on demining the area in coordination with the demining center, reported to the police that a sizable quantity of weapons and mines had been found.

Eight containers were found with rockets for the Osa portable anti-tank launcher, along one anti-tank mine, a bag of nitroglycerin, three boxes of ammunition and one tracking device, Novosti is reporting.

The next day, a combined police and army team was formed that carried out an investigation and determined that an unknown person or persons had hidden various types of weapons under a boulder, in a place called Singrit, in the area of ​​the village of Konculj, which is located on the administrative line with Kosovo and Metohija.

It doesn't do it justice to say that people who did this job were shocked when they found eight containers with rockets for the M79 Osa hand-held anti-tank launcher, 137 pieces of ammunition for the Zolja RPG, one anti-tank mine, one optical sights, 1,436 pieces of ammunition of various calibers, as well as a disintegrating camouflage uniform.

The Higher Public Prosecutor's Office in Vranje was informed about the event.
