Professor Branislav Tiodorovic warned back in September that a difficult November awaits us, and as he added, it will be hard for us in December as well. According to him, it's now very important for everyone to refer to their conscience and act responsibly, as 80 percent of people who respect measures are doing.

"Back in September, I said what awaits us in November, counting on people understanding the seriousness of the situation. A month ago, I warned that the main hotspots are raft restaurants and nightclubs in the capital, as I explained that the most important thing is to control how the measures are implemented, because that is the most important thing for us.

I must say that every local community can act in accordance with the epidemiological situation and strengthen the measures.

For example, regardless of the fact that hospitality, tourism, etc. can be affected, we should limit opening work of establishments down from 11 pm to 9 pm, or 8 pm, as soon as possible, and every local community can do that.

At this moment, the most difficult situation is in Belgrade, followed by Novi Sad, Kragujevac, Valjevo, Sabac, Loznica, Pancevo, these are the cities that are recording a large increase and it is slowly descending to the south and southeast," said Professor Tiodorovic, writes Blic.

Ever more difficult form of disease in young people as well

Hospital capacities are being filled, and the elderly and the chronically ill are certainly faring the worst, along the fact that we should not forget that even a young person can develop a severe form of the disease.

"More severe clinical pictures are more linked with the elderly, over 60 years of age, while young people from 20 to 40 rarely develop a more severe form of the disease, but we should not forget that this happens, too.

It's just proof that every rule has an exception, one shouldn't put too much hope into a young person certainly being able to go through everything on their feet, because there is belief among young people that they will not be hit by a heavier form, and so far it has been that way, in the past ten days.

But now the situation is slowly getting more complicated, so even young people can get a more difficult form, although less often, but they can. And the reason is that there are many more sources of infection. Now we have again that situation from the beginning of July, when the increased number of virus carriers contributed to the fact that young people become infected much more often and in much greater numbers," Tiodorovic explains.
