Coronavirus breaks two records in Serbia: Another 2,412 cases in 24 hours, six deaths

This is the latest cross-section of the coronavirus epidemic situation

In the last 24 hours, coronavirus has been confirmed in 2,412 people in Serbia, and at the same time, six more patients died as a result of this disease.

Today, Serbia broke the record in the number of cases, as well as for the number of people tested for coronavirus.

12,617 people have been tested over the previous 24 hours.

Out of the total number of those tested, 19.11 percent were infected.

There are 53 patients on ventilators.

The death toll is now 850.

2,014 people are currently hospitalized.

Today as well Belgrade has the highest number of new cases in 24 hours - 1,106. Novi Sad had 167, Valjevo 66, Kragujevac 64, Kladovo 59, Nis 59, Kraljevo 48, Sabac 36, Arandjelovac 30.

Today, Health Minister Zlatibor Loncar held a meeting in the Palace of Serbia with directors of Covid hospitals, after which he said that in the last 24 hours, just under 400 patients infected with coronavirus had to be hospitalized.

As he said, there are only 300 more free beds in hospitals in Belgrade, to cover today and tomorrow.
