21 ministries, as many as 3 new ones: This is what the new Government of Serbia looks like

A group of 167 ruling deputies submitted the Law on Ministries to the parliamentary procedure today. According to the proposal, the new government will have three new departments, namely the Ministry of Rural Care, the Ministry of Family and Demography, and the Ministry of Human and Minority Rights and Social Dialogue.

The Assembly will discuss this proposal tomorrow, and it may happen that more ministries without portfolio will be established, which will be decided later, it has been confirmed for Telegraf from top government circles.

Who will be the new ministers should be known after the session of the SNS presidency on Sunday.

The new government will also have a ministry for care for villages and rural areas, which will perform the tasks of state administration and related professional tasks linked to: strategic consideration of the position of the village and the rural population; proposing measures and activities to improve living and working conditions in rural areas; nurturing tradition and traditional way of life in the countryside, in order to preserve the cultural and historical content of rural areas, as well as other activities determined by law.

The Ministry of Family Care and Demography performs state administration tasks related to: the system of family legal protection; marriage; population policy; family planning, family and children; improvement and development of demographic policy.
