"Tough conversation awaits us": Vucic ahead of meeting in US with Pristina delegation
We want peace, stability, progress of Belgrade, Pristina and our entire region, but above all, we must be taking care of the fate of our people in Kosovo and Metohija - the president said a few minutes before the start of the meeting
President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic, addressed citizens a few minutes before the start of the talks with the delegation of Pristina in Washington and said that he would do his best to reach a compromise solution.
"We are a few tens of meters from the White House and in a few minutes, the talks with the Pristina delegation will begin. We are ready, we will do our best to reach a compromise. We want peace, stability, progress of Belgrade, Pristina and our entire region, but above all, we must be taking care of the fate of our people in Kosovo and Metohija. I have seen numerous arrogant statements by Albanian representatives about some kind of recognition of Kosovo, my message to everyone is that surrender is not an option," said Vucic.
