The minister says the car he was driving was his own
Goran Knezevic, a member of the Serbian government, has confirmed that he was involved in a traffic accident, as well as that he is currently waiting for the police to investigate the scene.
"The man (who was hit) is at the Emergency Center and the results of x-rays are awaited. It looked good at first glance, but the doctors will have their say. He got up on his own, he communicated, we spoke, but it was necessary that he be examined. I hope everything will be fine. I am here now, waiting for the police to complete the investigation," Knezevic told Kurir.
The minister said the car he was driving was his own.
Knezevic was involved a car accident at the intersection of Milutina Milankovica and Emila Gavrila boulevards in Zrenjanin this morning.
According to eyewitnesses, the minister caught a 75-year-old pedestrian, who was crossing the street at a pedestrian crossing, with the outside rear view mirror on his Skoda Kodiaq with Zrenjanin registration plates.
According to reports, the pedestrian suffered minor injuries, while more details will be known after the investigation has been completed.
