Serbian Pink Panther caught on marijuana plantation in Tenerife: He was among Hell's Angels
The Serbian was arrested on an international warrant
A citizen of Serbia, who is suspected of being a member of the notorious international criminal group Pink Panthers, has been arrested in Tenerife.
Five more people were arrested together with the Serbian, on suspicion that they committed numerous crimes. They are accused of drug trafficking, money laundering and extortion. Namely, members of the notorious motorcycle gang Hell's Angels have also been arrested, having previously been linked to drug trafficking.
The police arrested the Serbian, two Germans, as well as citizens of Poland, France and Spain. All detainees have previous police records, but none like the Serbian who had an international arrest warrant out against him on suspicion that he is one of the members, and possibly even one of the leaders of the Pink Panthers, a group that stole millions in robberies around the world.
The Serb was caught while "controlling" the growth of marijuana plants on a plantation held by the Hell's Angels in the city of Guargacho.
The bikers were arrested in an operation with a specific name, "Jabali-Vulcano" (Spanish for "Wild Boar-Volcano") while the investigation against the suspects began in September of last year. Thanks to the support of colleagues from Denmark, France and Norway, the police in Tenerife tracked down the notorious gang whose members are wanted in their home countries for pimping and human trafficking.
A large amount of drugs and weapons were seized in this action.
The investigation also links the suspect to numerous cases of extortion.
"Data has been collected that the suspects racketeered several people, mostly owners of brothels and tattoo studios," a source said.
