The president of Serbia thanked the Israeli ambassador for everything she did to further relations between the two countries during her diplomatic mandate in Belgrade
President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic received Ambassador of the State of Israel Alona Fischer Kamm in a farewell visit, and expressed satisfaction with the constant progress of the political dialogue and economic cooperation between Serbia and Israel.
Vucic pointed out that mutual understanding and solidarity between the two peoples, who throughout history often shared a tragic fate, especially during the Second World War, has contributed to that.
The president of Serbia thanked the Israeli ambassador for everything she did to further relations between the two countries during her diplomatic mandate in Belgrade.
Ambassador Fischer Kamm said that, during her work in Belgrade, she witnessed exceptional engagement of President Vucic in establishing closer ties between the two countries.
She mentioned her appearance at the annual AIPAC conference in Washington, which, as she said, touched the hearts of the Jewish people, as well as many legal solutions, which Serbia brought in order to respect the rights of the Jewish community.
The two interlocutors expressed hope that in the coming years, more Israeli investors will get to better know and use the favorable conditions for investing in the Serbian market.
The Serbian president and the Israeli ambassador also discussed the dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina.
President Vucic thanked Ambassador Fischer Kamm for Israel's position to respect the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Serbia and not recognize the unilaterally declared independence of Kosovo, as well as for its support for a peaceful solution to this important issue, the Serbian President's Media Cooperation Service announced.
