Kozar and Hadzic shot 30 times as they were returning from beach? Horror scenes at Corfu villa
At least 30 shots were fired into the victims' bodies
The police are still investigating two mysterious murders in front of a villa in Corfu, where the bodies of two men - according to Greek media, Montenegrin citizens - were found in a vehicle. It is believed that they were Alan Kozar and Damir Hadzic, residents of Montenegro's town of Bar.
Information first emerged that Kozar and Hadzic, who are close to the Skaljari Clan, a Montenegrin crime gang, were killed in Turkey. However, new information indicates that their bodies were found in Greece.
A source from the Greek police told Podgorica daily Pobjeda that the bodies of two men who were killed in a car were found in Corfu yesterday.
According to the initial information, the police assessed that this liquidation is related to the murder that happened in February in a cafe in the Greek area of Vari. Igor Dedovic and Stevan Stamatovic were killed at that time.
For now, the Montenegrin police have operational information that Kozar and Hadzic have been killed, but they have not received confirmation of the location.
Greek media write that two men were found dead in the parking lot of a villa in Halikounas.
Rain of bullets
Allegedly, the two victims lived in Corfu for a while, staying for more than two months in the villa in front of which their bodies were found. According to Greek media, the victims were most likely liquidated upon their return from the beach.
Weapons were found in the car, which was covered with sand. The bodies of the victims were shot with at least 30 bullets.
It is presumed that they were ambushed, while a considerable quantity of ammunition was found in the villa where they were staying.
Kozar and Hadzic carried forged passports, most likely Slovenian. It is suspected that they were killed on Thursday afternoon, but post mortems should determine the exact time of death.
Kozar was previously marked as the leader of the Bar criminal clan, which was led by Luka Djurovic until his death, and which has close ties with the Skaljari Clan.
He was sentenced to six years in prison for the bombing of the Splendid Hotel.
According to Serbian media, Hadzic was close to the murdered Igor Dedovic.
