An unusual meeting between the president and the prime minister of Croatia took place today in Zagreb. Namely, after a session of the government, Plenkovic went to the presidency in order to give Milanovic the signatures and discuss the composition of a new government.

Plenkovic entered Milanovic's office in a visibly good mood, and when the president stood up to meet him and extended his hand, an unusual situation happened.

The prime minister recoiled, started waving his hand in a gesture meaning that he did not want to shake hands, and then went for an "elbow bump" with the president.

Milanovic did not exactly care for this move. He looked confused as patted the prime minister on the arm.

Plenkovic should reveal the composition of the new cabinet today. He announced that he will do this after he receives a mandate from Milanovic.
