"Only Fools and Horses" star thinks of Belgrade in this difficult moment
As Boycie would say, "Be aware"
John Challis, who played the character of Boycie in the classic UK sitcom "Only Fools and Horses," that is very popular in Serbia, has made his support for Belgrade known on social networks, thinking of us at a time when our country is struggling with another surge of coronavirus.
"Stay safe #Beograd (Belgrade). You know it makes sense. I'm looking forward to going back to your wonderful city next year, so as Boycie would say, 'Be aware'," Challis wrote on Twitter and shared some photos from his previous trip to the Serbian capital.
The UK actor visited the capital last year to film the documentary "Being Boycie in Serbia."
He then visited some of the many murals painted in Serbia as a tribute to the popular show, spoke to fans, but also gave a very interesting interview to Telegraf.rs in which he spoke about his visit to the Red Star stadium in Belgrade, how he embarrassed himself in front of the Beatles, and whether he would rather buy a bottle of "Yugoslav Riesling" - or an Albanian radio receiver.
