A meeting between President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic and Ambassador of the Russian Federation Aleksandr Botsan-Kharchenko, which was scheduled to take place today at 10 am in the building of the General Secretariat of the President of the Republic, has been canceled after all, the president's press service announced.

The topics of the scheduled meeting were not known, while the reason for the cancellation was not announced by the Office of the President of Serbia.

The last meeting between the two officials took place during the celebration of Russia Day in Belgrade, when the Russian ambassador underlined that Russia will always support Serbia and that only a (Kosovo) solution that suits Belgrade will be acceptable to Moscow.

"Our common pain and a very difficult problem is solving the Kosovo problem in which we are together. Russia will always support Serbia," Botsan-Kharchenko said at the time.
