Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov is coming to Belgrade on June 18 to convey the unequivocal position of the Russian Federation, which is that there can be no solution for Kosovo without Serbia, Belgrade daily Novosti writes.
President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic says he is convinced that the Russian Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergei Lavrov is coming to visit our country with friendly words and messages.
Lavrov will be visiting Serbia on June 18 and 19.
"I will meet with Lavrov on June 18 and hear what he thinks. I am convinced that he is coming with friendly motives, words and messages," Vucic told reporters in Nis.
Vucic said that Serbia and Russia are sincere friends and that he "believes in such results."
Journalists asked him if it was true that Lavrov was coming with a message from Vladimir Putin that there can be no solution for Kosovo without Serbia.
