One more person dies from coronavirus in Serbia over 24 hours: 48 new cases, mostly in Novi Sad

A total of 11,571 confirmed cases of COVID 19 have been registered in the Republic of Serbia by 3 pm on June 4. One more person has died. Since the last report, samples from 4,024 people have been tested, of which 48 came back positive, it has been published on the Covid19.rs website.

By 3 pm, a total of 261,266 persons who met the criteria for defining a case have been tested in the Republic of Serbia.

470 people are hospitalized, while there are currently 15 patients on ventilators.

6,910 patients have been cured.

In the last 24 hours, one person died from coronavirus. The total number of deaths since the beginning of the epidemic is 246.

In the last 24 hours, the percentage of those testing positive relative to the overall number of those tested for coronavirus is 1.35 percent.

It was announced earlier today that 16 residents and 16 employees have been infected with the virus in a private nursing home in Novi Sad.
