The assembly of so-called Kosovo has elected a new government led by Prime Minister Avdulah Hoti with 61 votes in favor, 24 against and one abstention.

The new government in Pristina has four deputy prime minister and 16 ministers, while the Serb List will have two seats.

This is the cabinet of Avdulah Hoti:

Albulena Balaj - Deputy Prime Minister

Goran Rakic - Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Local Self-Government

Besian Mustafa - Minister of Agriculture

Vlora Dumoshi - Minister of Culture

Agim Veliu - Minister of the Interior

In his address before the vote, the now officially new prime minister of the provisional Pristina institutions, Avdulah Hoti, said that the dialogue with Belgrade is of vital importance, and that the roles of the EU and the US in that process are inseparable.

Avdulah Hoti told members of the assembly that everyone should be included in the dialogue and be united, including the EU and the US.

"The dialogue on reaching a final agreement is a vital interest of Kosovo. Authorities will fully respect the constitution during the talks. The dialogue will have clear goals on the issues to be discussed and we will be transparent. An agreement will be based on the equality of Kosovo and Serbia," Hoti said.
