List of dates of lifting of coronavirus measures: Parks reopen, city transport restarts on this date
As of today, parks are reopening, but everyone must keep a distance
At today's regular press conference dedicated to the epidemic of coronavirus in Serbia, Dr. Branislav Tiodorovic said that after their meeting today, both Crisis HQs made decisions to from today start easing the measures introduced against Covid-19.
He also stated precise dates when the following measures would be eased:
* Parks and promenades are opening today (April 28), but everyone must keep a distance
- Outdoor sports training is allowed with full implementation of all recommendations established by the Crisis HQ, thus ensuring that all outdoor sports can be practiced
* City transport in Novi Sad and Kragujevac will restart on May 4, in Belgrade and Nis on May 8, but there will be no air conditioning on buses
* Rail and road intercity transport will be enabled from May 4, along with strict observance of protective measures
* Starting on May 4, restaurants and cafes will reopen, social distance and masks will be compulsory in gardens, while all known recommendations must be adhered to indoors
* As of May 8, shopping malls will start reopening, with a great deal of caution by both service providers and users
* From May 11, kindergartens and extended stay in schools will resume, day care will be organized for children up to 12 years of age who cannot be left home alone but whom parents have nowhere else to drop off
* Air travel resumes on May 18, as recommended by both European and world agencies.
In Serbia, according to the most recent data reported at today's press conference, six more people have died from coronavirus, bringing the total to 168. The latest victims are three women and three men.
Since the last report until today at 3 pm, 5,446 more individuals have been tested, of which 222 were positive for the presence of coronavirus. The total number of those infected is 8,497.
The total number people tested in Serbia so far is 73,363.
There are currently 79 patients on ventilators. The total number of those hospitalized is 2,517.
