The government has decided that supermarkets and grocery stores will not be open on Sundays, while on Saturdays they will determine their own opening hours, but these can't extend to the afternoon.

This means that pensioners and other citizens over 65 years of age will not be able to go shopping during the previously organized special times from 4 am to 7 am on Sunday morning, Telegraf Biznis has learned.

Their option now is to go out and shop on Saturday mornings from 4 to 7 am.

Additionally, as confirmed to us, under the new rules, stores will be open from 7:30 am on Saturdays until noon for all other citizens - and closed all day on Sunday.
