In Serbia, 1,060 people have coronavirus; 160 more test positive in past 24 hours
The secretary of state at the Ministry of the Environment has died from coronavirus, it has been announced
A total of 1,060 confirmed COVID-19 cases were registered in the Republic of Serbia by 3 pm on April 1. 72 people are on ventilators, while five more have died.
Since the last report until 3 pm today, samples from 810 individuals were tested, 160 of which came back positive for the new coronavirus, and 650 negative.
By 3 pm on April 1, 2020, a total of 4,371 individuals who met the criteria for defining the case were tested in the national reference laboratory of the Torlak Institute.
State Secretary at the Ministry of Environment Branislav Blazic died today from coronavirus, Telegraf has been able to confirm.
A self-assessment test for COVID-19 has launched today in Serbia, and the system operates on the basis of logging in using the personal health insurance number and the health card number, Prime Minister Ana Brnabic announced on her Twitter account.
Yesterday was the worst day so far in Serbia as seven patients died during 24 hours.
