Serbia has coronavirus cases of all ages, most are in the workforce: 65% are between 25 and 55

Among those who died from coronavirus so far in Serbia, 9 are male and 7 female, with a mortality rate of 2.04 percent

Epidemiologist Predrag Kon, speaking about the demographics of coronavirus cases in Serbia so far, said at a press conference on Monday that 65 percent of those who have tested positive for coronavirus are aged between 25 and 55.

"About 20 percent of those infected are over 60 years of age. Interestingly, 55 to 60-year-olds had the highest incidence of contacting the disease in the first week (of the outbreak)," said Kon.

He added that we now have coronavirus cases of all ages.

"We have the highest number of infected people in the workforce age, and that is a fact," said the epidemiologist.
