Coronavirus was confirmed in eight more people in Serbia overnight, bringing the total number to 97, according to the latest data from the Ministry of Health.
"Since the last report last night at 6 pm, until this morning at 8 am, samples were tested from 46 people, eight of which came back positive while 38 were negative for the new coronavirus," the Ministry of Health said in a statement, adding:
"Three people with a lighter clinical picture are in home isolation, while five people are kept in the hospital without any complications, in stable general condition."
To date, a total of 486 individuals who met the criteria have been tested in the national reference laboratory of the Torlak Institute.
