All student excursions from Serbia abroad are postponed due to coronavirus

* The Ministry of Education has issued a recommendation to all schools to suspend student excursions * The measure will remain in force until further notice * Coronavirus situation will be monitored and decisions made accordingly

Because of coronavirus, which has spread around the world, to countries in our region, and which has appeared in Serbia today, all student excursions abroad are postponed, Telegraf.rs has learned from the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development.

It is the recommendation of the competent ministry to postpone excursions to all countries.

It is not known for how long this measure will be in effect. In fact, it is not limited, since the situation with coronavirus can change for the better in about ten days, possiblyin  a month.

The ministry had already issued a recommendation over a week ago to suspend all excursions to Italy, and now this applies to all countries.

The COVID-19 virus has been confirmed in 77 countries. Today, these countries are joined by Serbia.

The novel coronavirus has been confirmed in a man (43) from Subotica who returned to Serbia after visiting his sister in Budapest, Hungary.
