Pristina Media: Prosecutor of the special court for KLA crimes ready to indict
For now, however, it's not known which of the former members of that formation will be put on trial
The prosecutor of the special court for crimes committed by the so-called Kosovo Liberation Army, KLA, has informed the court's president that he is ready to raise indictments, Pristina media s reporting.
The media in Pristina also say that the president of that court has appointed judges to conduct pre-trial proceedings, that is, he will consider indictments proposed by the prosecution, RTS reports.
The commencement of trials before the special court for crimes committed during the Kosovo conflict by KLA members had been announced several times in the past few years.
Thus far, the prosecution has questioned more than 100 former members of the so-called KLA, including a number of regional and local commanders.
For now, however, it's not known which of the former members of that formation will be put on trial.
