Former Red Star Captain rushed to a burning hotel; he says all children are well
Lukovic points out that all children are well
A fire broke out on the third floor of Hotel N in Belgrade at about 12:30. According to initial information, two children were trapped on a window sill, and as Telegraf.rs find out, there were at least 30 children in the hotel, most of whom train football with Graficar and Red Star clubs.
An ambulance rushed to the scene, where Aleksandar Lukovic, a former Red Star captain who is now the sporting director at Graficar - a Red Star branch - went there right away. He pointed out in a statement for Telegraf that the children are fine.
"As soon as I heard, I went to the hotel because our children who play for both Red Star and Graficar are accommodated there. They have been taken out of the hotel as a precaution. Everyone is fine, no one got injured or inhaled smoke. We were told they would be back in their rooms in 45 minutes.
