The vehicle was found by a police patrol on the road between Batajnica and Nova Pazova around 9 am this morning.
It is suspected that a man (31), a member of the Gendarmerie, used an explosive device to blow up himself and a woman.
The police suspect that the gendarmer who was off duty at the time triggered a hand grenade while inside the Opel Vectra car. According to the daily Novosti, reporting unofficial information, the perpetrator was a married father of two.
Reportedly, the possible motives for this crime may be hidden in the problems in the relationship with the woman.
The investigation is ongoing.
