Former Real Madrid and Olympiacos footballer Raul Bravo has dismissed allegations that he was involved in an attempt to assassinate former footballer and former Serbian Football Federation (FSS) sporting director Darko Kovacevic!

In an interview with Spain's Radio Marca, Bravo pointed out that he had a great relationship with Kovacevic, but that he holds one thing against him.

"My family was frightened when the news of the assassination and involvement appeared, but I knew that Darko would laugh when he saw that information. Two days later, he called me, and the only thing I hold against him is that it took him that long," Bravo said.

"Darko and I were roommates, we had and have a very close relationship. We never went against each other... Not even Netflix has the kind of movie they're trying to create."

Bravo also gave his opinion on the assassination attempt that took place on Christmas Day.

"Knowing Darko, I think this was an attempted robbery. I can't imagine anyone wanting to hurt him," Bravo was clear.
