Serbia will have three gas pipeline exits
Serbia has finished laying pipes for the section of TurkStream in its territory.
The pipes of the "National Main Gas Pipeline,2 a new alternative supply route for the whole of the Balkans, have been laid through Serbia, RTS reports.
Gas will be delivered via the TurkStream pipeline along that route through Bulgaria to Serbia and then to Hungary, while further works on the gas infrastructure are being prepared.
Srbijagas public company director Dusan Bajatovic told RTS that 403 kilometers of pipes have been laid in Serbia as part of TurkStream.
"Drilling has been done under the Danube, Tisa, and Morava rivers, all canals, passages, the pipes have been connected. We expect to finish works on meter stations," said Bajatovic.
He added that Serbia will have three exits from the gas pipeline - near Paracin, Belgrade, and Zrenjanin, while the exit for the Banatski Dvor gas storage facility remains to be completed.
