Ex-Pristina negotiation team leader's provocation: We'll have war unless Serbia recognizes Kosovo
She stressed that the dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina was not interrupted because of the taxes, but because "the state of Kosovo was in danger"
Former head of Pristina's negotiating team in the dialogue with Belgrade, Edita Tahiri, said today that unless Serbia recognizes an independent Kosovo within its existing borders, there will be a war, the daily Lajmi reports.
"Unless Serbia recognizes Kosovo within its existing borders, as an independent state, we will have a war," Tahiri said at the conference "The road to a final agreement between Kosovo and Serbia."
She stressed that the dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina was not interrupted because of the taxes, but because "the state of Kosovo was in danger"and added that Serbia and so-called Kosovo are not "two Germanys."
The conference "The road to a final agreement between Kosovo and Serbia" was organized by the Democratic Institute of so-called Kosovo.
In two panels, representatives of civil society and the media are discussing a possible agreement between Kosovo and Serbia, as well as women's involvement in peace processes.
