Kosnett says: Belgrade-Pristina agreement should first and foremost be accepted by people
Beside the dialogue, Kosnett spoke about the measures announced by the next government in the fight against organized crime
US Ambassador in Pristina Philip Kosnett says a final agreement between Belgrade and Pristina should be accepted by the people, not just by a few politicians.
Kosnett spoke to Koha Ditore in an interview to be published today about the tasks awaiting the next government in Pristina, but also why he considers it unrealistic to talk about a government without acknowledging the political reality, namely the Serb List, the strongest party of Kosovo Serbs, Kosovo Online is reporting.
Kosnett also spoke about why he refers to rumors that the US is pushing for a major border change as "malicius."
In addition to the dialogue, Kosnett also spoke about the measures announced by the next government in the fight against organized crime and corruption, and the requests to revise the mandate of the special court for crimes committed by the former KLA, Koha reports.
