Serbia redeems 5 billion in government bonds early

Government bonds have been redeemed at an executive rate of 1.80 percent.

The Republic of Serbia has redeemed early government bonds in the amount of 4.8 billion dinars, the Ministry of Finance has announced.
The auction for early redemption of 3-year dinar government bonds was held on Friday. The bonds mature on April 5, 2020, and 481,724 pieces worth a total 4,817,240,000 dinars have been redeemed.

The volume of redemption of bonds by the Republic of Serbia amounted to 7 billion dinars, while the volume of bids submitted at the auction was around 4.8 billion, or 68.82 percent of the said volume of redemption.
