Serbian football coach Sinisa Mihajlovic has been discharged from the Sant'Osorla hospital in Bologna, where he has undergone a new round of treatment for leukemia.
His club, Bologna, has now issued an official statement from the hospital, that said a bone marrow transplant was performed on October 29 and that the results are satisfactory.
"Sinisa Mihajlovic was discharged from the Institute of Hematology on November 22, 2019 after receiving a bone marrow transplant from an unrelated donor on October 29, 2019. The patient's condition and his hematological findings are satisfactory," reads a hospital statement published by the Bologna football club on their website.
