Vucic's condition stable, he's released after receiving treatment at VMA; returning to work today
He was admitted to the VMA on Friday for cardiovascular problems
The health condition of the president of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, is stable and he has been released after receiving treatment at the Military Medical Academy (VMA) in Belgrade.
Vucic previously announced that he would be returning to work today.
He was admitted to the VMA on Friday for cardiovascular problems.
An adviser to Aleksandar Vucic spoke last night about his health.
"It's been a really tough weekend. On Friday, his condition was very bad. It was so bad that he himself asked to be taken to the doctor - a man who never acknowledges illness, we would be running around the world after him while he was faving fever," Suzana Vasiljevic, his media adviser, told TV Pink, adding:
"He asked to be taken to the VMA. We found out about the results of his tests this morning, he spent two days connected to machines. He is feeling a little better today, he will need to take the therapy prescribed to him. I hope we can somehow overcome all this."
