One of the witnesses to this morning's incursion of ROSU members into northern Kosovo, Ljiljana K., has told Kosovo Online that she was awakened by the noise and the banging on the door of her neighbor, Zeljko Bojic.
"I heard them yelling and banging on the door. They shouted 'open the door, open it!'," she said, adding that she went to the door and saw masked persons.
"The police were banging, yelling and kicking. They were saying, 'open the door' and I said, 'I'll do it'. They kept banging and shouting, 'open, I'm telling you'," said Ljiljana.
She added that she repeated she would open the door as soon as she found the key that the frightened woman had trouble locating.
"When I opened the door, a police officer motioned me to go back and closed the door. I pulled away and didn't approach again. There was a lot of smashing and breaking and it sounded like they were hitting my door. I saw that there must have been about ten of them," she says.
The woman also said she didn't allow her family members to go outside and that they all waited together in another room until the police left.
