The installing of a tank in front of the Red Star stadium in Belgrade has been met by many with disapproval, especially by the neighbors in Croatia, who viewed the act as a threat.

Few people, however, are bothered by the fact that many clubs around the world also adopt military symbols - they can be seen in front of their stadiums, and even in their crests.

Among these are big clubs like Arsenal and West Ham United in England - while one club proudly displays an entire military arsenal in the grounds around its stadium.
