The plenary session of the Assembly of the so-called Kosovo, in which MPs voted to dissolve the 6th convocation of the Assembly, was held today at 10 am. 93 MP signatures had been filed in order to convene today's session.
The Assembly of the so-called Kosovo has been dissolved with 88 MPs voting in favor, one opposed and two abstained.
The dissolution of the Assembly required at least a two-thirds majority, i.e., 80 votes.
Early parliamentary elections will be scheduled not earlier than one month and not later than 45 days after the dissolution of the Assembly of the so-called Kosovo.
Previously, 96 MPs voted in favor of approving a draft the Law on Ratification of the IPA Financial Agreement 2018 between the so-called Kosovo and the EU.
The Assembly of the so-called Kosovo has a total of 120 seats, of which 20 are guaranteed for minority communities, ten of which go to Serbs.
