Shops in the north of Kosovo are reopened
In protest of taxes levied by Pristina authorities on Serbian goods, the stores were closed for two days
After two days under the lock, the stores in the north of Kosovo are working again today, reports Radio Television of Serbia. In protest of a trade block and a 100 percent tax levy imposed by Pristina on Serbian goods seven months ago, all of the stores, shops and bakeries were closed for two days in the north of Kosovo.

President of the Association of Merchants in the North of Kosovo and Metohija, Rados Petrovic, said that it was agreed that the shops, pharmacies, catering facilities, which were closed for the previous two days, are reopened.
Director of Clinical Hospital Center Kosovska Mitrovica Milan Ivanovic warned at the same time that the situation in the health center is worrying.
- Efforts are being made with the competent institutions, the Ministry, the Office for Kosovo and Metohija and the Republican Fund to normalize the supplies, which is difficult in these conditions - Ivanovic said, reported by RTS.
Patients can be adequately taken care of, but there are no certain solutions, anesthetics, and antibiotics, Ivanovic said.
