Son of famous Serbian businessman sentenced to 12 months of house arrest
The time spent in detention, from July 19th to October 4th, 2013, will be included in the sentence
Aleksandar Mitrovic, son of the owner of Pink television Zeljko Mitrovic, was sentenced to 12 months of wearing the ankle monitor and a ban on driving for one year, due to the traffic accident which happened in July 2013, when he hit the 17-year-old Andrea Bojanic on a zebra crossing in Ustanicka street.

Mitrovic is sentenced to a unique fine for both criminal acts: a serious offense against the safety of public transport and failure to provide assistance to a person injured in a traffic accident.
The time spent in detention, from July 19th to October 4th, 2013, will be included in the sentence.
To recall, Mitrovic, while driving a jeep BMW on July 18th, 2013, hit and killed 17-year-old Andrea Bojanic.
According to the prosecution, Mitrovic drove at a speed higher than 81 kilometers per hour, and Andrea flew 29 meters from the force of the blow.
Mitrovic escaped the scene of the crime, but he was taken to the police by his father Zeljko Mitrovic.
