The police apprehended Mirjana Tomic (26,) the deputy president of the Busur community in the municipality of Petrovac na Mlavi, on suspicion of having beaten the sick grandpa of her husband.

She is suspected that she had a fight with the grandpa of her husband on May 27th, Dusan (86), also from Busur, and that she hit him many times in the head and body, inflicting many light injuries. After the exam in the general hospital in Petrovac, the doctors determined that the grandpa suffered light injuries, so he was sent home.

The police, which was called by neighbors, apprehended Mirjana to take a statement, and then she was released.
