The internet games "Momo" and "Blue whale" could have been fatal for the four students of the elementary school "Kole Kaninski" in Bitola, in the south of Northern Macedonia. While performing the challenges of these dangerous games, they injured themselves by cutting their veins, Skopje television 24 finds out.
The number of children in Bitola who are doing these challenges is far greater. The principal of the elementary school "Kole Kaninski", Zoran Mircevski confirmed that this has happened. He said that everything happened out of the school, and the police and the parents of the pupils were informed.
- There were four cases of self-injury in our school who cut their veins while playing the games "Momo" and "Blue whale". That happened out of the school, but we, as an educational facility, took appropriate measures. The students and their parents were urgently summoned for a talk, and the case was reported to the police and the Social Welfare Center.
We have checked the classrooms together with the members of the police and we have found a knife with one of the pupils - said the principal of the school "Kole Kaninski", Zoran Mircevski for TV 24.

By playing the online game "Blue Whale", a lot of children performed suicide around the world. The latest game "Momo" is spreading over the app Whatsup. It is intended for younger users, and the consequences can be suicide.
The story begins after establishing contact with Momo, a character with scary looks and big eyes. When they come into contact with Momo, they get a series of challenges, and if they refuse them, there are punishments and they receive threats and disturbing phone messages and photos.
