When asked by German newspapers, does he recall, where he was on March 24, 1999, Thaci said that he was in the mountains, on the border between Albania and Kosovo and Metohija.

When stated that there are still charges against him for war crimes, that there are reports in the Council of Europe accusing him of involvement in the killings and trafficking of organs, Thaci claims that the allegations were constructed in Serbia.

- If they call me for the special court, I will go. It is important for the truth to come to the light - said one of the former leaders of the terrorist Kosovo Liberation Army.

He has mentioned that he directly spoke to president Donald Trump about the agreement with Belgrade.

- His message to both sides is clear: Use the momentum, move forward and don't allow yourself to repeat the tragedies of the past - Thaci mentioned.

He also thinks that Eu was never capable of solving things on its own, that is why the USA help is needed.

Asked about the relationship with Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, Thaci said that this was a difficult relationship, but that it was necessary to have an open channel of communication.

- Because the dialogue has prevented many bad things which could have happened between our two countries. But, I feel no pleasure in it. We both know where we come from. That is not an obstacle for us to work for peace - Thaci said.
