Two Staffordshire grabbed Tamara (10) by her neck: Blood was pouring around, they knocked her to the ground and they bit her, parents made a tough decision (PHOTO)

The girl didn't die from bleeding just because of one of the raging dogs

Three years later, after the horror in May 2016, which happened in their own yard, when two Staffordshire almost cut the throat of little Tamara (10), the family Krstic from Glovocac, near Bogatic no longer has dogs as pets

Horror in Serbia: Staffordshire bit the mother of the owner till death, the other woman was seriously injured

- Although we love animals, we have sworn never to have a dog in our yard again. Not even a poodle. It has been three years and we never thought of having a dog - said the mother Milka.

Krstic family had 2 Staffordshire, Astor and Lea, who they got when Tamara wished for a pet. They chose the two because they were told that the dogs are very fond of children, not even thinking they could be dangerous.

- They were tame and Tamara would go straight to them when she returned from school. She loved them very much and she was the one who mostly fed them. That day, when she came from school and when she released them into the yard, they jumped onto her, as if they were mad. They knocked her to the ground and they started biting her until mother-in-law Danka averted their attention by hitting the bucket - remembers Milka.

They managed to chase away the dogs and they noticed a deep wound on Tamara's neck, and there was blood pouring out of it, everybody was scared that the child will bleed out until she reaches the hospital. The child was incredibly lucky, one of the teeth got one millimeter close to the aorta.

- Tamara was petrified on the road to Bogatic and she lost conscience just for a moment. She never shed a tear, probably because she couldn't believe that her own pets attacked her - adds Milka.

It remained unclear why the pets did that. No one dealt with that, it was more important to avoid the tragedy, the dogs were placed under the vet supervision, blood analysis was performed and it turned out that they weren't infected with rabies, they were put to sleep.

The parents were recommended to provide professional help for the child. It turned out that, despite the trauma that the girl survived, she didn't need help.

Numerous scars from bites and even the most dangerous wound on the wound healed and now she sometimes remembers the nice moments with her pets.

However, just by thinking that it could have ended tragically, Tamara's parents mention their parents when they read about new cases which disturb the public. They erased hundreds of photos of their dogs and no longer think about the terrible event.
