Purple Power was at its peak in Bled, Slovenia for the hugely successful HYCU Summit 2019
40 percent revenue growth
This entity has evolved from the company’s existing mobility and travel department, which has enjoyed a 40% revenue growth over the last 12 months through partnerships with industry leaders including Ryanair, AerLingus and Daimler.
About 250 employees of Comtrade will join the new Voyego team, focusing on helping airlines and ground mobility organizations improve the passenger experience. Whether it is to improve passenger interfaces, payment processes or simply accelerate market entry, technological innovation is the key strategic orientation and basis for all projects in Voyego.
Vladan Atanasijevic, head of Voyego operations, says: "As an internal department of Comtrade for the transport and mobility sector, we achieved incredible success, especially in the past year, and now is the time to improve it through Voyage's independent work. Airlines and land transport organizations are industries with enormous potential within the modern digital economy. And Dublin is the perfect starting point for the airlines side of our business."
- In the coming months, we will seek new workers to add to our existing team - people capable of quantum career jumps. Anyone who is programming today in a small company, in a city anywhere in the region of Southeast Europe, who can tackle challenges brought on by the most advanced technologies, while simultaneously responding to business requirements on a global level, can be part of Voyage tomorrow, travel and work in Ireland, Germany, Singapore or anywhere in the world where our clients are - emphasizes Vladan Atanasijevic.
Voyego will focus on delivering mobile applications, responsive airline websites and innovative payment solutions that enable airlines to deploy new payment methods quickly.
The division also enables its aviation customers to generate ancillary revenue streams. For example, its Adnexa platform gives airlines the power to tailor and target advertising content for passengers through channels including boarding passes and in-flight entertainment.
Fleet sharing platforms
For the ground mobility market – which consists of car-sharing organizations and companies developing automated vehicles – Voyego develops fleet sharing platforms and retail solutions and offers consulting and rapid prototyping services. The division has also created a Digital Transportation Lab to test new business models and emerging technologies including Artificial Intelligence, chatbots and blockchain.
In Voyego, they plan to continue with the successes of the internal development phase and to double the revenue by 2021. By combining state-of-the-art technology with a thorough knowledge of the transport and mobility sector, Voyego will enable leading players in the field to innovate through unique, targeted solutions. The business unit’s predicted growth is also expected to create a significant number of jobs both in Ireland and internationally over the next three years.
Although this business unit is officially just starting to work, some of the key players in the transport and mobility sector, who serve millions of travelers around the world, already use Voyego's technological solutions. Featured examples are Adnexa advertising platform and Avant2Go, the platform for a fleet of electric vehicles, which is in use in five cities throughout Slovenia.
- This step will allow us to overcome the position of leaders in this field and to establish Voyego as a team that shapes its sector and globally represents technology that provides maximum benefits to companies and passengers in the field of air and land transport. When we look back on our success last year, 2019 seems like a time that will define both Voyego and Comtrade group as a whole - says Vladan Atanasijevic about the future Voyego plans.
