Four patients died last week in Montenegro from complications caused by influenza virus infection.
Three women, aged 61 from to 67, and an 81-year-old man, died, reports RTCG, quoting the Dnevne Novine.

In the latest report of the Institute for public health, which covers the period from February 11 to 17, states that only one of the four deceased patients was vaccinated against influenza.
In the observed period, the Center for medical microbiology of the Institute for public health confirmed 35 cases of infections caused by the flu virus.
- So far, the epidemic cases with medium intensity of flu activity were recorded with wide geographic distribution - they stated from the Institute for Public health.
The highest number of people with flu-like illnesses is registered at the age of 20 to 64 years, 458 patients, while the highest incidence is registered in the age of five to 14 years and in the age of children up to four years old.
